Sabrina S- Tiger

This is an picture I took and edited for the high and low key project. This was at the B-ham zoo, (yes this was through the glass) I used my zoom lens 75m-300m. Editing-I did so much to this picture, but mostly darkened the back ground lightened the eyes and stripes, messed around with the levels a lot, and then made it black and white. Honestly this picture cannot be any better :)

I really like this photo. I like how the black background looks fairly natural in this situation. It doesn't look artificial. The lighting is also very dramatic, which works well.

This photo is outstanding! Everything about is is perfect. The composition, the lighting, the amount of detail. I wouldn't change anything about it at all. Great job!

The fine detail of the face of the tiger is amazing. I like the black and white as well, makes for an interesting perspective on a colorful animal. Lighting is great too. Maybe get a small bit lower of an angle next time.

Hey Sabrina! This photo is seriously awesome. I love how clear it is, despite the fact that you had to shoot through glass. I like the choice of black and white and the black background fits very well. Love it!

Great shot! A Tiger was a good choice for the High Key Low Key assignment. The contrasting colors of the stripes in the fur really gave you a chance to play with some harsher lighting while editing. I also like the composition. By filling the frame with the head of the tiger it allowed you to paint the background black. The subject doesn't appear too distant, and it doesn't look like it's in a void. The frame is filled without anything distracting from the subject.

I really like this photo! The contrast between the black and whites are awesome. I also really like the composition of the shot and the angle it was taken from.

I love how you edited the background out and made the transitions so seamless. The whites really pop, and the blacks are incredibly rich. Keep up the good work!

Great photo! I really like how the blacked out background to make the tiger seem more contrasted, if that was your intention, then good job!
