Nick A - Gaze
This image is called, “Gaze.” This photo was taken with a Canon EOS 7D near Tip Top Grill around sunset. The lighting was a little low which made me raise the ISO; that contributed to the increased amount of grain. However, the soft lighting gave a smooth pallet of light over the face. I shot the photo in monochrome and edited it by simple lighting adjustments and cloning, as well as a gaussian blur on the face.

This is a very good portrait! I like the lighting and the contrast in clarity between the subject and the background. Good job!

i love the middle lower placement of the subject and how her hair flows from the right side of the photo to the left. THe photo has overall really great composition and the black and white shows the contrast well.
