Logan M- Train Tracks in Old Town Helena

I took this image over the summer at the train tracks in Old Town Helena by The Depot. I used a fairly slow shutter speed of about 1/100. I had an iso of about 400. Lastly, I had a medium aperture of about 11f. I had a tripod to stabilize the shot. I loved the way the fog looked so I couldn’t resist taking the shot. I only adjusted the contrast and played with a few color lookup layers to selectively adjust tones.

Dude I love it. I love the way that there is a defined path leading down the tracks and I like the dull, deep color scheme. I would get rid of that one awkward black bush thing to the right of the tracks, and make the left side even a little less bright/vibrant in the branch that stands out, leading the eye even more towards the background (which is about perfect).

I really like the overall look of this picture. Like how the shade under the trees is darker, and the lighter part of the leaves stand out. The train tracks lead to the mist in the background which gives it a mysterious feel. I also like how the leaves look like they flow together, and make the forrest look really thick on either side (it brings more attention to the train tracks) Great Picture!

I like this photo. I would shoot another photo that is a little closer to the tracks and lower and see how that one turns out. This photo has good lighting and color so nicely done!
