Davis D- "Pony Car"

This is a picture of my personal car that I took a few days ago. I took this in front of Ross Bridge in the gravel parking lot. The title of this is “Pony Car”. This is was taken with a Canon 7D Mark ii at 1/150, f/2.2, at 160 ISO. I used my 135mm prime f/2 lens to take this picture as well. I also played around with the shadows and highlight tool to give it the mood that is represented.

Great shot! I love the composition. It fills the middle and right third well. Also, the way the depth of field keeps the right third in focus and progressively fades down the length of the car adds excellent depth to the photo. Your lighting choices also helped with this significantly. Love the highlights and shadows.

You did a fantastic job taking this picture of the Mustang!! I also like the way that you can see the rain drops in the back. The mood matches perfectly to the subjects car color. I really like the way the front of the car is not focused and the back of the car is focused. You did a good job of playing around with the shadow and highlights tool to get a great outcome of the image. Alex D- HHS

I really like this shot! The raindrops make the transition from clear picture to blurry picture more interesting, and the photo is very sharp around the taillight. I like the texture of the pavement, and that there are no other cars/objects in the background to draw attention away from the car. Good job!
