Ashley G- Underwater Flower

This photo is called Underwater Flower. I took the flowers at my grandmother’s house and the lamp was from my house. It was taken during the middle of the day. I took this photo with Canon Rebel t3. When I was editing this photo, I used a lot of filters and layers to change the colors. This photo might have been better if some of the green in the photo wasn’t there.

I see how the title, "Underwater Flower" fits the picture perfectly! At least, in my opinion. The wavy blue in the picture, gives a watery look. As if water is reflecting on the flowers. It's something completely and totally different yet fits the title perfectly. I also like the bit of purple when the dark blue crosses and turns part of the white petals purple-ish.

I really like the lighting on this photo, the contrast in the photo really emphasize the underwater part of the picture and the dark patterns in the background draw your eye to the photo. The colors bring out the uniqueness in the photo with the different greens and blues. I would definitely keep this photo and hang it up on my wall because it is colorful and not too bright and everything blends really well together.

I absolutely love this photo. It’s vibrant and with all that editing and filters it makes the photo abstract. Everything kind of just blends together and the dark green and blue contrast with the white flowers. I will probably end up using this as my phone wallpaper.

I like this photo because of its color mostly. My favorite color changes often, but it always goes back to blue, so seeing this reminds me of how much I like it. I think it looks tremendous for a couple flowers from your grandma's and a lamp. Nice job!
