Allison S- Low Key

I took this photo for the high and low key assignment with my Canon SL1. The background was originally white but I increased the contrast quite a bit to make it more of a low key image but other than that I didn’t really do much to it.

Great low key pic! I like how the silhouette turned out. The couple of strands of hair that stick out give a neat effect as well.

I really like this picture. I love how you can't see anything on the face like the eyes or any details. God job.

This photo is really cool! The lighting in this photo is awesome! I love the silhouette effect! I also love hoe the majority of this photo is dark and then the rest of it is white and grey! I like this photo!

I love the lighting in this picture. The harsh contrast really outlines the silhouette of the face and completes the picture. The only thing I might have done differently is to pan the frame to the right a little bit, so that the face was on the left side of the picture and there would be more white space to the right of it. I think this would enhance the effect of the face against the background. The mood in this photograph is really dramatic and sudden, and that is one of the reasons I like it.
