Meredith V- Central Park

I shot this photo a few summers ago in New York, but never edited it. I decided to use it for my demo project, which was using a water color effect. I edited this image by adding a texture to the background and editing a photo of texture as well. I boosted the saturation and contrast of this photo. I then “Painted” on the image on top of the various textures. I like the effect, but next time I use this technique, I will not use a red t
exture because it messed with the overall colors of the photograph more than I would have liked.

I really like this picture! This picture is amazing it doesn't even look like a photo but more like a drawing! I really like this.

This is cool. I love how old-timey this looks. I also like the fogginess in this photo. It is looks good having the edges looked burned. Good job!

This is a great edit on the photo. It looks as if it was painted onto a canvas like you intended. The composition of the photo with having trees in the foreground and buildings in background is great.

I like this picture because it looks like an old realistic painting. Imagining the picture without effects, it would look okay because of the slight tilt, but adding the effects fixes that problem. I also like the contrast between the oldish style filter along with the city concept of the picture. It's nice, great work!

This is really creative cause of the water color effect on the picture. What made this work or possible is how you used an unedited picture with out filter or anything. Therefore, the base, from the very start was stable. Usually if you work from an edited or already filtered picture the pixels tend to look really bad. If you weren't to mention it being a picture taken at New York, I would have taken it as an ancient city or it was taken in an asian city...

This is a fantastic photo. I love the effects you added to make it look like someone did it with water colors instead of a photo. Great job!

I really like the way the water effects make it look like an antique photo. The demo was a fun demo to watch. Great picture!
