Anna G- The Dreamer

The title of the selected image is “The Dreamer”. The photo of the building was taken a couple of weeks ago when I visited SCAD. This photo was taken with my iPhone. I edited this picture by inverting the contrast of the building and adding a colorful layer on top of it to make it look kind of watercolory, and I drew the picture of the person walking up the building, and I added a picture of a star that was under a Creative Commons license and added more small stars to the background. I think this photo could be better if the image of the star were of a higher quality and didn't look as pixely.

This photo is super cool. It gives cartoonish vibes and also seems kind of dystopian too. I love the editing on the building and the contrast with the realism of the sky. I also really like the person walking on the building and the shadow the moon creates. I think it could be better if the detail on the building popped a little more. It's very cool! CT HHS

I really like this photo. The building coloring is a really nice contrast to the starry sky in the back. I also like how the person walking stands out a lot. I honestly wouldn't change anything. Good job! -MM (HHS)

This is a really cool photo. It looks almost like you took this in another world. I like the dreaminess effect you gave too the building and the have the person walking vertically on the side. And taking this on your iphone is crazy as well great photo

This is amazing! I really love the vibrant, pastel colors you used for the building and how it contrasts with the darkness of the night sky. Also I had no idea that you drew the person walking up the side of the building! I thought it was a real person you photoshopped into your picture! It looks like something straight out of a dream! I would definitely frame this! Awesome job! -VS HHS

The Dreamer creates a strong sense of ambition through the upward angle of the building and the figure climbing it. The soft, watercolor-like colors contrast well with the dark space background and enhance the dreamlike mood. Using a higher-resolution star would make the image feel more polished overall.

I really like this image and they way you edited it. I think the man (or figure) is walking toward the stars, it really gives meaning to the name. Also the way the building is colored really draws the eye. I think it's really cool.
