Kye W - Stillness in Contrast
This photograph, titled “Stillness in Contrast,” was taken by me in my classroom on November 12. I used my Canon Rebel T7 camera to capture the arrangement of a lamp, globe, skull, and plant. The image was edited in black and white to emphasize the texture of each object and the lighting contrast between the bright lamp and dark shadows. I adjusted the exposure and contrast to bring out the cracked surface of the lamp and deepen the shadows on the wall. If I could improve it, I would balance the lighting to reduce glare near the lamp shade while keeping the strong highlights intact. I chose this image because it combines themes of knowledge, life, and mortality, giving an everyday scene a dramatic, almost symbolic tone.

I love this photo! I like the things on the table. The light reflected from wall emphasized the lightning. I love how you have the whole lore of the photo to which is really cool. If it were me, I wouldn't change anything. This is a great picture, keep taking more!
Great !
I love this photo. I love the way everything looks from the true black color to the quality. I would hang this on my wall. Keep up the good work!
