This image is titled “Simba”. It was captured at Birmingham Zoo during a photography field trip last year. I shot it with my Nikon D60. I enhanced the photo to showcase the intricacies of the lion's mane and highlight the contrast between the light and shadows. I could have improved it with a bit more cropping.

I really like this picture. I think the way the shadow cuts over the face adds a really cool effect and adds to the image a lot. I think you could've sharpened it a little, although the slightly blurred effect doesn't take away from the photo much. The colors in this are also super cool.
