Ella H- Moment in Motion

The name of this photograph is “Moment in Motion.” I took this picture during my second SI Investigation in early October with my Konica Minolta Maxxum 5D camera. To edit this picture, I took multiple photos of the butterfly and overlayed three sets of wings onto the base photo. I then warped each of the wings to my liking, and lowered their opacities. Another editing technique I used was adding a mask over a black and white filter. I did this to erase the black and white filter over the butterfly and the flower it was on, which resulted in a pop of color and very noticeable subject. I am very pleased with how this photograph came out and would not change anything about it.

I love the way the motion of the butterfly is shown and how its focused only on the color of the butterfly its very good I like it.

I really love this picture! I love the quiet feel this image has, trapped in time perfectly. I really like how you grayed out the background leaving just the butterfly to be the focus. My only critique is I wish the stem of the flower was maybe grayed out too. I’m not sure how that would look all together but maybe just play around with it. Over all great work!

This picture look so cool! I love the way you were able to capture this image and how the butterfly and the stem of the plant its on is very bold in color. The only thing I would potentially note on is making the stem a little less vibrant, but I love still having that slight additional color there.
