Sophia T - Chameleon

The name of this image is “Chameleon.” I chose this name because my model is camouflaged with the background. I found various patterns on Pinterest and projected them onto my model. I wanted to see how the projections altered people’s perception of the outfit I picked out for this shoot, and the mood it creates within the room. I did this photoshoot in the studio at school, and the only lighting I used came from the projector. I made minimal adjustments, focusing primarily on lighting contrast between my model and the background. I am pleased with the outcome of this photoshoot, however I think some of the images could have been sharper.

I love the concept for this! The projection on the model look so cool and I really like the shadows. My only thing is the image looks kind of slanted, and I might've taken it from a more centered angle. Overall, good job!

I really like this picture!! I love the colors and patterns and pose. The only thing I would change would be cropping it in a little and maybe brightening it slightly/sharpening details. Overall, great job!

Your approach to integrating projection patterns onto your model and exploring the resulting interplay with the outfit and ambiance is quite innovative. The name "Chameleon" perfectly encapsulates the concept of blending with the background, adding depth to your artistic vision. Using minimal adjustments and relying solely on projector lighting shows your dedication to authenticity and creativity. While you're pleased with the outcome, noting areas for improvement, like sharper images, demonstrates a commitment to continuous growth and refinement in your craft. Overall, it's a captivating project with a lot of potential for further exploration and development.
