Helen S- Christmas Star

I titled my image “Christmas Star”. I took it at my moms house during the winter break. I used my Sony Alpha A6500 with a portrait lens. The way I edited the image was by using the retouch tool to get the fine details like hair or scratches out of the reflection of the star. I think the way this image could be better is if the subject was more distinguishable and you could tell whats going on in the image.

I like the composition of this image, the lighting on the star matches to external lighting near the edge of the image, and the green tree adds good contrast. -E.S.

So cool! I like this image a lot. I like the reflection of the lights, it truly has a christmasy feel. I do wish there was some contrast or sharper edges along the star. Also I do wish there was more warmth however the angle is perfect! Good job and keep up the great work!

I really like this picture! I love the reflection of the lights and the warm tones of everything. I like how it is focused on the star but it's still blurry. Overall, great job!
