This image is a composite shot of my hand reaching in the air and a close-up shot of my eye. I took both these over the winter break in my room. I cut-out and clipped my hand and masked it to where my hand is holding the pupil. I then lowered the opacity of my hand and put it on the divided blending setting. After that I used a Camera Raw preset to warm up the image and make my eye more contrasted. I wish there were less harsh shadows on the left of my eye. I could’ve avoided this if I had put a second light source to the left. I like this image but I also wish the arm wasn’t covering up so many pretty details in the eye.
I really enjoyed making this and I can’t wait to try more ideas outside my comfort zone.

You are so creative and amazing, I love everything about this, the brightness, shadows, and the iris of the eye.

Hi Dori I love the idea of this photo! I love the clear focus on the eye and how the hand looks like its almost grabbing the iris. The color scheme gives me woodsy vibes, which reminds me of fantasy.
I really like this picture! I love the attention to detail and how the hand really does look like it's in the eye. The only thing I would change would be making the right side of the eye a little less bright white, I wish I could see more veins and such to make it more realistic. Overall, great job!
This image has some really good color with it and the hand blends in really well. The way the hand has the same patterns the eye is nice as well. The one thing I would change is maybe make the hand slightly darker.
