Nikolaus H- Fins

The name of this photo is ‘Fins’. It captures a radiator from the 1950’s and the bent cooling fins of it. I edited this photo by increasing contrast, stamping the pattern a little, and drawing in shadows on the side of the radiator. I think this photo could’ve been better if I had better lighting in the moment

I didn't know radiators had fins. Can radiators swim? Anywho, I like this image! The way you use film is really impressive, Nikolaus. I don't know too much about film, but I really like the way you use film in still-life images like this. I do think it would be nice to see you shoot still-life images of clearer objects, though. I feel like that would allow you to tell more of a story with your work, y'know? Either way, I really like this piece. Keep up the good work!!

Good Image "Nikolas" if that's even your real name. I like the use of film, and the image has just the right mix of fuzziness and clarity. I think the non-perfect clarity really helps emphasize the usage of film, and the old feeling of images. -E.S.
