I took this photo while I was roaming the woods with a friend during the summer. I took it with my pentax k100d I believe. To edit this photo, I increased the contrast to give the photo depth along with adjusting the amount of red in it. It could’ve been better if I had taken the image at a more dynamic stance and if I had used a tripod to minimize camera movement.

This image is vey good. I love how you made the background blurry and the flower the main character. When I look and stare at this image I feel calm. Good job
Nikolaus! This is such a beautiful piece! I love the pallette and how you framed the flower. This really is some impressive work, in my opinion. However, I think it would’ve been cool if you added a bit more emphasis on the symmetry of the flower by positioning it in the pure middle of the shot. Although, I can see where focusing on the asymmetry may host a sort of narrative.
