This image is titled “smoke” and it was taken about 3 months ago. I took this photo at my house and it is of my brother holding a cigarette. I used my Canon 4000d. I turned the image black and white and used a nik collection filter. I also played around with the highlights to add more of a smoke effect. I added a gradient to make the background surrounding the cigarette dark. I wish that I would have gotten a better angle of the image.

I really like the use of black and white in this photo. I feel like it really helps capture the mood of drug abuse and how dark the struggles that go along with that can be. I like the details on the hand as well. I think you did a fantastic job with the smoke effect, the smoke looks so real! Overall, amazing job!
I really love this image! I love the fact that you made it black and white, I feel like you gave the image a lot of depth by doing so. I honestly like the angle. I also think the smoke of the cigarette adds a lot of interest to the photo.

This is a beautiful photo. I love the detail int he hand even though it is a full black and white picture. I also love ow you can see the smoke from the cig. The black and white also just gives this photo depth and it is appalling to the eye
I really love this photo it really stands out to me in like a smoking kills ad but a cool smoking kills ad I think the nik collection worked really good with this photo and i love the grain.
Bess I love this photo! I love how it's black and white it adds a very dramatic feel. I also love the lighting. The smoke is also really cool. The framing of the photo and position of the hand is really nice. The very defined details are also really nice.

The composition is really nice, and I think you did a great job! If I were to change anything I might crop closer on the right and maybe brighten it a bit, but overall you did a great job!
