Aidan P- Porch Light

This image was taken for the hands and feet assignment on my back porch with one of the lights hanging around it so I just named it porch light. I took this with my iphone at night and used my hand to grab it. I took the pictures a few times before I got a steady image that was clear and level. When I edited it I made the bulb a little darker for less of a glare and more detail with it and the hand. After that I went into the color effects filter and used the color contrast filter with some little adjustments. I can’t think of anything specific I’d want to change but I would like to try it in black and white.

I like how the background is completely dark and the only light source is the lightbulb. I do think that the front portion of the hand is a bit too sharp. Other than that the photo is perfect.

I really like this photo and how the light is centered. Along with how you can see the texture of the hand and then it goes blurry in the background. Overall I really like this photo.

This photo is so cool! I love the lighting and the dark background, and I especially love the details on the hand. I think the lighting and the color he light is giving the photo is perfect. But I'm sure that it would look just a great in black and white.

I really like this photo it is so cool! I love how I can see every detail in the hand. The lighting is also really nice and contrasted. There is a lot of very light areas and very dark areas which I personally like. Overall great photo. Good job!

Very cool! It is very detailed and the light looks great, it is not over exposed or under exposed.

I really like this photo! The lighting makes the photo look really aged and older. Also the color adds to the "older" vibe and I think it makes it look really cool! This photo is really cool and I like how all you can see it the subject the hand and light!

I really like the way the light is soft yet it leaves a luminous feeling the the entire area. I think the texture of the hand really adds depth to the photo. Overall great photo.
