Linley W- Birmingham Bird

This picture is titled Birmingham Bird. I took this picture at the Birmingham Zoo on Father’s Day over the summer with my Nikon camera. I edited this picture by increasing the saturation, sharpening the picture, and adding some highlights and shadows within the picture. I darkened the surroundings and background in order to bring the bird into focus. I also added some brightness to the eye in order to make the eye stand out. This picture could be better if it was a it less saturated. Overall, I really like this picture and am proud of how it turned out. I also do wish that the feathers on the body had a little bit more detail to them.

The lighting in this image looks really nice and it isn't too harsh or underexposed. I like that the background is blurred out, it makes the bird's feathers and red eye really stand out. I also love all of the vibrant colors throughout the photo, it really accentuates the bird's features. This is such a great image!

This is a really good image! I love the vibrant colors that are in the bird. The blurred background is a nice touch because it makes the bird stand out. I really like the position that this photo is taken from and how the bird's neck is titled to the side. Overall, I think you did a good job with this image!

This photo is really beautiful. I really like the vibrance of the colors. I especially love all of the colors that is going on in this photo. The blurred background with the different things going on back there is really great too. The angle is amazing but I think I personally would love to see a different angle. Overall this photo is amazing the way it is!

I really like this photo! I love the bright lighting and how it doesn't overpower the detail of the bird. I also love the colors int his photo the background has less vibrant colors which makes the viewer only interested in the bird. This photo reminds me of the Parakeet area in the Zoo! I love this photo!

I think this picture was done really good with the color, angle, and the background blur. The eye looks clear and has a reflection with looks good and clear. The one thing I think should be changed is maybe crop a little off on the left but that's just my opinion.

I really love this photo, and the bird's colors look amazing! I think the lighting in the image is almost perfect, and I like the angle you took the picture from. Personally, I think the background colors further elevate the image. Overall the lighting, coloring, and framing is really nice. Good Job!

I really like this photo. The way it is blured in the background and is focused in on the bird looks really good. I also really like the contrast of the birds feathers. Overall I really like this image.

This page is amazing. I know from experience how hard it can be to perfectly capture subjects that fly/move. You were able to capture it and it is completely in focus which is very impressive. Also, the colors are beautiful and very vibrant. The lighting is nice. Overall, this is just a really solid image. Great job!
