Linley W- Sticky Drip

My picture is titled “Sticky Drip.” I took this picture with my Nikon camera in the studio at Hoover High School. I took this picture during the school day, but used multiple props to help me set the studio up. For the background, I used a black backdrop and used multiple clips to hold the spoons in place. I set my camera up on a tripod and held one spoon, with honey on it, over the second spoon and took pictures rapidly. This was the result. I edited this picture by increasing the saturation and vibrance. I brightened and darkened up some areas to add contrast to the picture. I also sharpened up the picture in order to make the spoons more in focus. I also cropped the picture to make it seem more symmetrical than it originally was. This picture could have been better if the spoons were more in focus or there was more honey coming out from the bottom of the second spoon. Overall, I am happy with the final product and really enjoyed this challenge.

I really like this image! I like how the spoons are in a sharp focus. You can see all of the details of the honey and how it looks almost reflective. I also really like the use of dark and light areas in the image. I like how everything in the background is dark (black) and how the only light parts of the image are the honey and the spoons. This brings your attention specifically to the honey and the details within it. It keeps you focused on the honey. Overall I really like this image and the used of light and dark within it. It is really cool!

This is a pretty epic photo. The contrast is just right and the movement is great. Really solid photo.

The photo first caught my eye because of the boldness of the colors. The honey is a gold/amber color that stands out because of the black background. I also have noticed that the lighting on the honey makes it the subject of your photo. Even though the focus was only a bit off, this photo is still great to me.

I really love this image! The contrast and coloring are great. I love how the black background really makes the colors pop in the center! The composition is really creative, and I think it just looks so nice. I also really like the bright but not harsh coloring. The photo is also focused really nicely, and it really makes the image look clear and crisp. Overall, I think you did a great job with this photo!

I really love this image! I love how you chose to show the honey dripping from one spoon to another, it really makes for a nice image. The golden color of the honey contrasts nicely with the black background. I even like how the spoons are plastic because it blends nicely with the honey. I like how the subject is right in the middle of the image. Overall, I think that you did a nice job with this image.

This photo is extremely impressive. The image is extremely in focus and perfectly lighted. You are able to see the littlest detail of the spoons and the honey, but the background stays perfectly black. There is a lot of visual interest to this photo. Great job!
