The name of this image is Snow. I took the image in North Carolina during a ski trip in January. I took this image with my canon rebel T5 with a 50mm lens. I edited the image by blurring the background where the snow was but keeping it focused on the flag. I then changed the color of the leaves and brightened up the overall colors more. I think it could be better if I cleaned up my blur edit.

Mary Ryan M- Protected By a Silver Spoon
The title of the image is Protected by a Silver Spoon. It was taken for my Sustained Investigation for the song She Came in Through the Bathroom Window. It was taken with my camera, tripod, and self timer in the shower. I edited this image by cleaning up blemishes and lighting the brightness. I also added a yellow tone to the image to make it seem more “grungy”. The image could be better if the things in the background were better placed or moved out of the way.
Shae M- Eye of the Beholder
The title of my image is “Eye of the Beholder”. I took this photo about 2 weeks ago in the studio here at school. I took it with Mr.Rigsby’s Canon Rebel T6. I edited it by brightening it a bit, adding more contrast, and sharpening it with the Nik Collection. I turned the eye a whitish color by using the dodge tool to go over it multiple times until it reached a color I was happy with. I wish the entire photo was a bit more in focus, but I really like the photo overall.

Jack J- Dreamin
This image is called “Dreamin” and it was taken on March 29th at Jackson Square in New Orleans, Louisiana with my Canon SL3. I edited the image by adjusting the vibrance, blurring and darkening the background, adding a black and white filter, then masking and revealing the clothing and sign. The image could be better if the background did not have so many people and distractions but NOLA on a sunny day during spring break is always going to be busy. This image ties to my sustained investigation into identity and how the homeless girl and the family contrast with the little girl bridging the gap between the two by admiring the homeless girl and her dog.
Emma J - MISS
This image, I took with a Canon T7 in the R-Dog’s (Mr.Rigsby) studio. It is of my friend Marley for my sustained investigation OCD series. I edited the image very minimally.
Bess H - Waffle House
This image is called “Waffle House'' and it was taken in Georgia. I took this photo in February and I used my Canon 4000D. This is an HDR photo, so I put it in the HDR maker and I picked a filter to put on it. I also cropped the image and put it through Photoshop. In photoshop, I brightened up the photo and adjusted the contrast.
Diana H- Ramadan Decoration
I would title this image ¨Ramadan Decoration¨ I took this image inside my house in the living room where we decorated for Ramadan. It was taken around 10 PM. I took this photo with my iPhone camera.I lowered the brightness while shooting the image. The only thing I have done to this image was low the brightness that's all.T think it could be better if I spent more time editing it. since a lot of people don't know what Ramadan is Ramadan is where all Muslim people fast and don't eat from sunrise until sunset and pray.
Katie G- Chrurch
The title of this image is Church. This was taken on April 1st in Savanna, Georgia. I took it with my Nikon B500 camera. To edit it ai put a mix of filters from Color Efex Pro 4 from the Nik Collection. I think it could be better if I didn’t have that glare from the sun in the bottom right corner. Overall I am really happy with how this came out.
Hannah B- Reach for the Skies
The name of my picture is “Reach to the Skies.” I took this picture at the Hoover Winter Odyssey and it is of my friend Alex. To edit this picture I added a black & white filter and cropped out some of the background. I wish I took this from a different angle so I could see more of her face but I wasn’t able to move that much due to the crowd. Other than that I don’t think there is anything I would change.

Sasha C- The Reach of Light
This image was taken in St. Louis during the day. It was taken with my Nikon D3200. When I took this image my settings were off on my camera but it played out well. The why was overexposed making the building not as visible, but I used sky replacement to bring some of the exposure down. I used a clone stamp tool to fix any imperfections and a burn tool and dodge tool to make the building fit the sky, like it was reaching out. Also played around with the saturation, just fixing the color when needed.
REGAN F- Look Through the Glass
This photo is titled “Look Through the Glass”. I took this picture at my job a couple weeks ago. I took this picture with my iPhone XR. I edited it with brightness and color enhancements as well as multiple NIK Collection filters. I am actually really happy with how this photo turned out, it is very colorful and I like the depths of the picture.
Sophia C- Colorful Columns
This image is named Colorful Columns and it was taken in the studio in the classroom using food coloring, milk, and an aquarium full of water. It was taken with my Nikon D3500. I edited by adding the purple and blue columns to the original green column image. Then I blended the purple and blue to seamlessly connect them to the original image. I also bumped up the contrast in the image. Then I used Nik Collection: Color Efex to add more saturation and brightness to the image. I don’t see anything I would change or add to this image. I really like this image and how everything blended together nicely.

Mitchell C - Alex
The title of this image is Alex, named after the model. I took these pictures in the preserve for her senior pictures. I really like this image because of its simplicity and how it accentuates the models skin tone. I took this image with my Canon 6D and 85mm f/1.8. I think it could've been better if I enhanced the composition or background to add some visual interest. However, because it was for senior pictures, I am fairly pleased with the result.
Drew B- Euphoria
This image is called Euphoria. I took this in my bathroom in the bathtub. I took this with my Nikon D5600 with a kaleidoscope filter attached to the lens. I edited it to make my girlfriend look like she was really staring at you and messed with the levels of saturation. Frankly I don't know how it could be better.
Amira A- Makeup Cart
I gave this image the name makeup cart, because there is makeup inside the trolley. I took this inside my home and I used a litter trolley and I put some makeup inside it. The date that I took this picture was in the afternoon of May 13-2022 and I took this image with my phone 6s. To edit this picture I added some more light and I changed the color of the image to the purple color. this picture it would be better if I erased the word “candy” that is in the front of the cart and put makeup on.

Aiden S- Holden
This photo is named Holden because my friend here is named holden. It was taken with my Canon Rebel T7 in Birmingham downtown on the weekend of the Panoramas assignment. I made the background a little blurry and made the lights brighter and brightened up his face a bit and made the flower more appealing. I could have made the photo brighter overall but other than that I think I did pretty good.
Allie S- Blind
The title of my image is Blind. It was taken in the studio here at school on March 2nd 2022. It was taken with a Canon Rebel T3. I edited it by putting it into photomatix and adding one of the presets to it. I also put it into photoshop and brought up the saturation and cleaned up a few certain areas with the spot healing brush. I feel like I could have changed the settings on the camera a little bit so it wasn’t so splotchy in the background. Overall I really like the image though.
Kaitlyn R- Bee House
The title of the image is Bee House. I took this around late january through early march at the Bluff Park garden area. I took this shot with a canon camera. I edited it by combining the pictures in photomatix Pro 6 and choosing a filter that enhanced/sharpened things up a little more than normal. Then I took it to photoshop and touched up some spots with the healing tool, and added a blueish filter to the image to make it more blue than it was before. I think it would be better if certain parts of the image were not as sharpened as other parts of the image, I think it would also be better if towards the bottom of the image I had the image a little brighter so you can see the whole bee house.
Sydney R - HDR #5
The title of this image is, “HDR #5”. It was taken about a week ago in my kitchen and I used my Nikon D3500. The editing process was pretty easy! I used the Photomatix application to put images together and I shifted the contrast a tiny bit. I feel it could have been better if the amount of noise in the picture was reduced.
Shae M- Waterfall
The title of this image is “Waterfall”. I took it last month at the Botanical Gardens for the HDR assignment. I took it with my Nikon D3500, and I used a tripod to get a clearer shot. I edited it by using Photomatix and the filters it offers. I used the filter surreal to give it a more vibrant look. I lowered the lighting a bit so that it would not be excessively bright. It could be better if the small branch in the front was more in focus or gone. I also think I could have cropped it a little bit differently. Overall, I really liked this image and I think it came out nice.

Abigail P - Blue Nights
The name of this picture is Blue Nights. I took it with my Canon Rebel T7 in January at my house. When I edited the picture, I increased the blues, purples, and greens to add more color to the image. I worked with the curves to adjust the lighting in the image. I also touched up the image and worked a lot with the dodge and burn tools to highlight the lines/shapes in the picture. Lastly, I added a vignette filter to the image. Overall, I really like this picture and I do not think I would want to change it.
Bess H - Down By River
This image is called “Down By The River” and it was taken at the Botanical Gardens about 3 weeks ago. I took it with my Canon 4000D. This was one of my HDR photos, so I put it in the Photomatix Pro 6 and put a painterly filter on it. I adjusted some of the settings on the side and then I got this result. One thing I wish I could change is how blurry some of the leaves are.
