Alana W- Composite 2 (1)

The title of this image is Composite 2, which was taken for the composite assignment and it is combined with 3 different images that were taken from the last 2 years by my Canon Rebel T6 camera. I edited this image by first changing the color and brightness and contrast of the clouds which is a separate image, then I edited the silhouette of the trees and railroad tracks with brightness and contrast and adjusting the exposure, and finally, I combine all the images together into one of the pictures of hands I used for the Hands and Feet Assignment. I feel like this could have been better if I changed the color of the overall background, but overall I am satisfied with my results.

I really like this image! The composition of the cloudy background with the silhouette of the railroad looks so good that I thought they were the same image. The colors of the clouds work very well together, and the split of the colors about the third makes for a nice shift. Finally, the way you've edited the hands to contain the image works incredibly well! Even with only the outline of the hands, it's so obvious exactly what the shape is, and that kind of clarity in simplicity is something all photographers seek to recreate. I agree that the solid white background isn't perfect, but I can't honestly think of anything that would look better so you have me beat here haha. Overall great shot, and fantastic edit!

I really love this picture! I absolutely love the image of the railroad silhouettes and the colors in the background. I also think the image of the hands makes it so cool and simple, but really complex at the same time because of the picture you put inside the hands. While I do agree there could be a difference in the background color, I think the work you did is amazing and the white background fits the image nicely!

Nice picture! The focus of the clouds and of the silhouettes are very concise. I also really like the color tone of the sky that you have. The orange, yellow, purple, and blue are prominent and bold and blend real nice. It definitely provides the pop in this picture. I really enjoy this picture and it would definitely be something that I would have on my wall because it's like a small hand-giving perspective of the sky and buildings.X

Really like this composite. The colors in the sky look so vibrant and I love it. I do agree with you that the background needs to be a different color, I think black would have been better to really make the colors pop from the sky.
