Jack J - The Empress

My image is titled “The Empress.” This image was taken at Cahaba River Park on October 24th with my friend Alivia. I took this with my Canon Rebel T3. I edited this by adjusting the saturation and then adding a Nik Collection filter. I was mainly shooting for a witchy aesthetic when taking this image.

This came out looking really cool and it captured that witchy aesthetic you were going for perfectly. I like how the card itself pops out in color compared to its surroundings really drawing the focus to it even though there is a hand on top of it.

Nice picture! Your focus and depth of field fit quite nicely. You have everything you intended to be the center of focus without having too much background as a distracted. The balance of color and brightness seems to be just enough to be intriguing and mysterious as you desired. And the way the hand is cut off is not something that bothers the image. It rather makes it easier for the viewer to see the rings on her hand which is then reaching out to the card. Overall, I really enjoy this picture and I would definitely use this as a background.
