Faye M- False Idol
The title of my selected image is “False Idol,” only because I wanted an edgy title. It was taken in the studio but I don’t know when, probably a few months ago. It was taken with a Canon Rebel t6, and I edited the crap out of this thing. I started with a basic contrast adjustment in order to exaggerate the shadows and the highlights, which was later added to with a surplus of dodging and burning. Then, things got weird. I started the weird-ification wth the eyes, removing the eyes and replacing them with skin using the clone stamp, and later layered the horizontal static overtop. I added the circle behind the head, and added the static swell as a blue color to go with the overall color scheme. I like this photo because of the texture of the skin swell as the colors of the skin, the warm and cool. I like the way it is, but commentary and criticism is always appreciated!

Hey Faye!!! This picture is super cool, especially when you open the full thing. The textures of your skin look so cool, and the coloring/lighting is extremely complementary to the background. Epic B)
Wow! I love this picture! The way you added the blue circle to the background and tied the color scheme into the rest of the picture is really neat! I also love the defining texture on her skin and hair! So cool!
OMG! I absolutely adore this photo!! I like the sliver of spherical shape that happens to have a blue pigment that is opposite of in front of your head!!! The eyes are big awesome and absolutely positively the best of the best of the best. The whole photograph is just extravagant positively empirically amazing!!!!!!!!!!!

I really like this picture. I love the idea of the removal of the eyes, it looks insanely cool and the it was executed really well. The texture on your skin looks really strong and the lighting and shadows work nicely with the picture. Overall I think it came out awesome!
