This picture was taken over Christ break at Lake Michigan with a Nikon d3500. I edited it by making the picture black and white, then adding contrast in the limbs of the tree. I also made the sky darker so the tree limbs would be more detailed. I’m not sure how I would change it but I really like how it turned out!

I love this photo!!! The black and white really adds a great aesthetic to this photo. It almost looks like it is a drawing. I really don't think that I would change anything about this photo!!!
This picture is amazing. I love the eerie yet calming vibe it gives off. I love the black and white aspect of it. I think the picture has a very simplistic feel to it which is really nice. great job!

I love this picture so much it looks like something that would be found in a hotel room! The way the tree is so dramatic against the rest of the image is really cool. I love how even though it is black and white the contrast is still really prevalent. Great job!

I really like this picture! The overall depth of the tree and its surroundings and the black and white coloring is wonderful and works well together. I love how you were able to reveal more details of the tree in order for it to stand out more by its contrast. Yet blend it well against the sky and the lake to bring it more into focus.

I really like this picture! I love the black and white. It really gives the image a calming and suspenseful look. I like how the tree is detailed and really stands out. I don't think there is anything you could do to improve the photograph.

WOW! This photograph is breathtaking! Before I even hype you up on how good it is, I am going to start off by saying that this is definitely a keeper. I think that the softness of the sky really adds to the overall effect and impact of the image, along with the crisp and clear center subject. I probably would have taken a step back, shifted the tree over to the left, and then have this image as a landscape photograph rather than the tree being the center focus. I think converting the image to a black and white and the contrast between the tree and its background also adds to the image and really solidifies the 'vibe' of this image. I can see there is a bit a vignette which also draws more attention to the tree, very well done! Making the tree the center focus is a complete creative opinion and even though I would've made it even more of a landscape image, this image is absolutely breathtaking and I love how it turned out! Very well done!
