The image is called Amazon and was taken at the Birmingham Zoo last October 2019 with a PentaxK100D. I edited the image in Photoshop using the Nik Collection. I edited the picture by adding a filter, increasing the saturation, and having the background blurred around the bird. In certain areas, I increased the contrast in order to have some of the feathers more detailed and focused overall. The picture could have been better if some areas weren’t as saturated and bright in color.

I think this picture came out great! The colors used in this picture work really nicely together and I love the strength in the red contrasted to the depth of the green. The details brought out in the bird are really nice and the overall picture just looks natural. Great job!
I love this picture. It is very focused on the bird and has a soft background. That makes this picture really good. the leading lines are a good add. i would definitely keep this picture and put it on my wall. Keep up the good work!
