Jasmine W - Lizard On The Moon

This image is called “lizard on the moon” for an obvious reason. This image is a composite of three images, well technically two images : the lizard and the moon. The moon image that I used was originally half of a moon but I did not want to use the same full moon that I continuously used in my images so I decided to create my own moon. I flipped the moon the right side and tried to connect them as best as I could, and I also used to stamp tool to create new or get rid of craters is that they would not look as if it was the same moon but flipped. Also, I contrasted the right hemisphere of the moon. In another tab photoshop, I turn the lizard black and white and magic selected the lizard and a little bit of the surrounding area so that when I put it on top of the moon I could see exactly see what I needed to erase, so that when I magic selected I didn’t accidentally take some of his body off. I created layers to paint some of the different areas dark and turned down the opacity. I  really like this picture a lot, mainly because of the contrast. The one thing I wish I would have tried harder on is the middle of the moon where the two moons connected so there wasn’t so many craters in the middle and that it had some non-crater areas but other than that I think it is a great picture.

I really like this photo. I love the detail you can see on the moon. I think it was really cool that you added two moons together to create the one because it looks super real.
GOOD JOB!

This is a super cool photo. I love composites and black and white photos, but I very rarely find a photo that is both that I love. I think the moon looks great; you did very got work with that. I think it would be cool to see it almost glowing.

This is a very interesting photo. I enjoy the soft light on the moon and the lizard. I will say, I think there cold be more visual interest if the moon was more to one side than another instead of being centered, but it still looks good here. I think it would also be a good idea to create more of a contrast between the lizard and the moon, just so the lizard is a little more distinguished. All in all, I have no idea how the lizard got on the moon, but he is straight vibing and I can respect that.

I really like this image because of the quality of the moon!! I also like how you applied a black and white filter to the whole thing. I don't think I would change anything about this photo.
