Zach B. - A Beautiful Past

This photo was made by random while working on some new editing techniques that I’ve been working on. I just randomly came across it and really ended up liking it. I just put a focused back ground color behind the main focus of the photo, the flower. I then used some long exposure shots of light to go in-between the back ground blue and the flower to give it a cool spirit like form to be floating around it. I thought the photo was really cool, I just don’t know what else I would do to the photo.

I think this image is really great! The way the lights encircle the flower is super cool and it adds a lot to the picture itself. Also the way the colored light contrasts with the blue background. I really just liked the picture of the flower in general and the stuff you added to it created an even better photo. Great job!

The long exposure shot of the light does add that spirit form that you were trying to capture. The technique is beautiful, so you should definitely stick with it. The blue and orange add a nice contrast. I think it would be cool to use the dodge and burn tools to add a shadow for the flower. I would also like to see it with a sparkle in the light or the flower. I think the cropping is good, though.

This photo is very pleasing. The light blue and white contrast really well and the beige adds that pop of color. Nice work!

This image is really eye-catching. I love the individual picture of flower but I like how you create the story. The background with the light blue color and white flower with a brown color goes perfect together. Great work!
