Alyssa C- "Light Down Under"

The title of this image is “Light Down Under.” This was taken in the Ozark’s of Blanchard Springs Caverns in Arkansas in October. I took this photo with my Canon Rebel SL2. To edited this image I Increased the brilliance to make the light really pop behind the Calcite formation. Then I decreased the exposure, shadows, and highlights to bring out the beautiful color of the fluorescent rock. I love the texture on the rock itself and that was really what I was trying to accomplish bringing out, along with the gorgeous glow. I am truly in love with this image and am really proud of it.

Wow that fire could be dangerous if you don't be careful

I like this image a lot! What I like most is how the image is darker on the outsides and becomes lighter on the inside. The only thing I would change though is how bright some of the light is that it almost makes it look fake and takes away from the rest of the image, that is just personal preference though. Overall, cool image.

This picture is really interesting, I love the textures and how they stand out really well against the dark background. Plus, the glow from the rock is absolutely beautiful, and you captured it perfectly! The only thing I'd wish was different is that you had desaturated the middle of the photo, it's just a bit overexposed.
