Raven H ~ Strangled By Society

This image is titled Strangled by Society because of society’s concept of comparing a woman’s worth and beauty to the size of her waist. I chose to do an assignment reflecting on my personal viewpoints of the world and photograph things that mean a lot to me. The subject is my friend Grace and I took this image in a makeshift studio at my house a few weeks ago. Overall I’m really happy with how this picture turned out and how it captures something I am passionate about.
