Magali V - Duality

This picture is called “Duality” due to the lighting effect that I used. This picture was taken in the studio and I used tissue paper to crate colorful lighting. I used low exposure to achieve the effect that I wanted so I did not edit it much. In photoshop I increased the contrast and lowered the exposure more as well as the vibrancy of the colors. Overall I think that it is a good picture, but it would be better if I had cropped it differently or taken the picture of another angle.

What an amazing picture this is! I love the variations of shades with the colors. The way it starts as a blue or purple and turns to an orange or yellow. The lighting is perfect to help set a calm and peaceful mood. A great job on this photo for sure!

Cool pic!! I really like how you created the lighting effect with the red and blue colors! I also like how you used low exposure to to make it dark all around her. The contrasting and vibrance levels look good as well!. I think this picture could maybe be better if you zoomed in on the face of your subject more. Overall, this is a really good pic and I love it! - Heath M- HHS

I love the picture! I Love the way you made the color change with some tissue paper nice idea. I like how you used low exposure. I like how increased the contrast it makes the picture better! I do agree when taking another angle but it would be better if you zoomed in a little more but not too much so you can see her face. Or would have cropped in a little more into the picture but overall nice picture!

Personally, I love the angle that you took the image at as well as the way that you cropped it. The lighting effect you used is super unique and as someone who isn't great at taking high quality pictures in low exposure, I'm super jealous of your technique! It looks great - definitely a keeper.
