This image is entitled “Unfurled”. It was taken in August at the Birmingham Botanical Gardens. I took it with my Nikon d3400. I edited this by increasing the contrast of the flower and the background. I also brightened a few areas of the petals with the dodge tool. I think this image would be better if more of the petals were in focus.

I love the elegance and color in this picture. The sharpness of this picture allows all the details of the flower to really pop. Fantastic picture!
