Cameron S- Aldridge Flower

I took this pic a few weeks ago at Aldridge gardens. I selected the flower and moved it to a black background. I added some definition to the flower and brightened the middle of it. I also feathered the edges to make it look less harsh and more natural looking.

So pretty! Oh I love the color and feeling of this picture. Its dark and mysterious and also beautiful and vibrant. Great job adding the gentle edging so it fits more with that background and doesn't become to harsh. This picture ended up perfect, great job!

Nice picture! I like how you feathered the edges because it makes the flower look so soft and it also blends in with the background more. The colors of the flower are absolutely gorgeous. The black background also allows the colors to pop more. Overall, I think you did a lovely job.

Really nice pic! i loke the black background that you did, it really lets the flower pop out more and look so bright. I like how you lightened parts of the flower and darkend some. it looks very good. think the feathered edges looks really nice and make it look soft. Good job!

This is a very interesting picture. The lighting is not too harsh, but bright enough to fully portray the flower. The color is very vibrant, which is nice and stands out against the background without looking too unnatural. Having just the flower with no distracting background is cool, and gives off a sort of peaceful and beautiful mood. Great job.

I really love this image! The detail in the flower is beautiful and the black background is a nice accessory to the picture. The petals of the flower look very real and dramatic in their positions. Overall this is a really amazing image.

This shot is very well done. I really like the color and how you were able to get the flower out of the picture and it only be that. You obviously worked very hard on this one and it goes to show about good it looks. - Cullen S.

I really like this picture. The black background really makes the flower stand out and picture of the flower itself is really sharp and well shot as well. I think it could have been better if you hadn't made the entire background flat black because it's almost too stark of a contrast and while there's a lot of texture an details in the flower the background just looks too flat. This is still a great picture though and I think it would look great printed out.

Nice job! I love the shades of purple and the strong contrast between the background and the flower. The composition of the flower in the center of the image works well with such a simple image. Overall, I think you did a great job of editing and selecting the flower, the image looks natural. Great job!

I really enjoy this image on black, with the pop of color! The purple pops off the page with it becoming lighter in the middle, it also presents a lot of detail in the folds and within the middle of the flower. I really like it!

This is a really cool picture. I like how the background is completely black giving the flower more attention and detail. The vibrancy of the flower is really good, the purple pops. Overall great picture.

I absolutely love this photo. Purple is my favorite color and you really do it justice with this photo. IT looks really good on the black background. The purple has almost a glow to it and it's amazing. Great job overall!!
