DeVaun J-Neon

The name of this picture is Neon. I took it as apart of my studio shoot.I used blacklight paint to do the designs on her face and used a blacklight to make it glow. I also used glitter based makeup to make her sparkle a little more. The only editing I did to the photo was brightening it so that it looked more clear.

How beautiful! You really did a great job with this. The black light and paint idea was very creative and effective. The way that it is so subtle yet so powerful all the same. What gets me are her eyes, like she is telling a story. Honestly I think it is great the way it is and doesn't have anything wrong that I can see. Great job!

I really love the luminosity of this image! The glow in the dark paint painted on her stands out and adds a nice brightness to the image. I really love the lights and colors used in this piece. The only thing I would change would to be clone stamp her hair tie on her arm out of the image. Overall I really love this picture! Great work!

Nice work! This lighting is so different from what you normally see in studio work, so keep it up. The focus on the paint works well at drawing the viewers eye into the image. Overall, I really like the cool tones you used and think you should take more pictures like this.

I really like this picture and how it came out to be. I like how it focuses on the light neon and the colors are really nice. In my point of view, I would have done some sort of designs on her side of her eye so her eye can pop up as well with the picture. But other than that Nice and well done!

Cool picture! The lighting is different because of the neon blue cast over her. The blacklight paint was a creative idea and you did a good job executing it. The paint makes the image really stand out and makes it more unique looking. Overall, I think you did a nice job!

Really nice! its very creative and very cool. i think using a glitter makeup was a good idea. i like how she is jist showing her eye and the other parts have the glow on them. maybe if the image was sharper it woud be a little better, but other than that, great job.

This was a really cool idea and I really like how it turned out! The way that the black light still illuminates the details of her face is really nice. the glitter on her face was a really nice touch because it allowed the features to pop. The only critique would be just to have the image a little more clear, but overall really nice job!

This is really good! I like the luminescence of the photo and the blue light on your subject. It's also good you can't see the background so all the focus is on her. Great colors, and a really good shot!

I really like this image! I love how the neon jumps off the screen, the dark background creates a great canvas on the screen. I think it would be cool if her shirt was blacked out and all you could see would be her hands and the face.

I love the way this photo was shot but sadly I am much more of a purple kind of guy so personally I'd have to say if this was purple it would be a whole lot better but that is just me. I like the fact that her hands aren't fully covering her face so you can still see her eyes. Very cool pic. - Cullen S.

Pool pic! This is very creative and cool because of the glow paint and the intensity of the eye. The background is great since it is just black it increases the draw of the eye to the glow. The only thing I would do to improve this image would be to make her eye glow also because ot looks cool and its really dark where you can see it right now.
