Welcome to the Hoover High Advanced Digital Photo Blog.
Here you can see images and comments by Digital Photo students at Hoover High School. The blog will be updated daily so check back to see whats new.
I took this picture with my iPhone 7plus last summer when I went to Chicago. I edited this image by cropping it and adding filters to it and I played around with the picture as well.

Nice photo! I like the color of the flowers and the angle you took the photo at. It's cool you can see the buildings in the background. It gives the photo an urban feel. Nice job!
I also like the colors of the flowers but I feel like you can brighten up the flower colors a little more and make sure it overpowered the green. I do like the angle also, but I think it would be better to have a shot of the flower up close also. Other than that you did a great job!
I think the colors pop which draws the viewer's attention. However, I think how you framed the image does not work well. If you made the image vertical and focused on one flower with Chicago in the background it would look better. The lighting works pretty well and if you increased the saturation a bit it'd be perfect. Overall, great job. Dayne M-HHS

I'm a big fan of the colors but the composition could use some work.
