Raven H ~ A Touch of Color

I took this image of my good friend Grace when we were in downtown Birmingham walking around and taking pictures. There was a loading truck with white washed graffiti on it and Grace went to touch it, making this one of my favorite candids I’ve ever taken. For editing, I selected everything but the color and put a black and white layer on it. Then I boosted every color and increased vibrance. I touched up her hair and straightened the image to add depth. I really love this image but I wish I would’ve made it a little better by filling in the letters and finding a way to get rid of the splatter-like grain at the bottom.

this looks really good. I like how you made the wall color and your friend black and white it blends well. it could be better if you can actually read the letters, but its not your fault. you did really well with this picture.

This is a really dope shot. It's really well edited. I love how the colors pop. The only thing I would do is edit the colors to make them more vibrant.

This is a really good shot. it is very creative and i like how it is black and white with the coor tha sands out. I also like how the girl in the picture is darker than he background. It gives it some contrast and lets her stand out more instead of blending in. i think maybe you should have just se;ected the baclground and sharpened it but over all really good!

This is cool! I love the editing technique you used. The splash of color in the words really makes you look at the image. the person also adds an element of detail that helps the picture feel more lively. Good photo!

I think the concept is great but I think the graffiti could have been given some emphasis and more focus.
