Landon H - Trooper

The title of the Image I chose is “Trooper”. It was taken in my backyard about two Sundays ago around 6:30. It was taken with my Nikon D60 gold Edition. I edited it by sharpening and smoothing a lot, along with darkening the edges, applying a B&W filter then coloring in his collar. It could be better if it were clearer, and a tad brighter.

My gosh that is such a curly puppy! This is such a great picture! I love the contrast between the colorful bright collar and the dim black and white. It looks like he is looking for something and it gives a story almost. You did a great job with how soft it looks and yet the picture isn't flat. it still has definition of the dogs hair and the dog isn't lost in the environment. I agree with your comment about it being just a tad bit more clear but I think the lighting is just right for this picture. Great job!

Landon, this is a dope photo. I like the use of the B&W filter and how you left his collar in color. I wouldn't do anything to change this photo. AR HHS

Cool pic! I really like ho you made the color stand out with the B&W filter. I do agree with you that it could possibly be better if it was clearer and maybe taken at a different angle. Keep up the good work! - Heath M - HHS

I love this picture! I love how you made black and white! and making the dog pop out! I do agree that you could make the dog collar brighter and better. But overall I love this picture!
