The title of the image is “Skyscraper” because it is an image of a newly built skyscraper in New York City. I took this over the summer with my Nikon D5500. It could be better if the pink blended more with the sky throughout rather than just the bottom. I edited the image by adding a bi color user defined filter to the image and then made the building black and white.

This is definitely one of the coolest pictures I'v seen ever, much less high school pictures. The color evolution is the background is really nice especially when contrasted with the grey building. I agree that it would be nice if the pink and blue merged higher up, but other than that this picture is phenomenal.

I really like this picture a lot. I love how the colors change in the sky. I love how the building has a lot of dimension too.
this is honestly a really cool picture. the background looks amazing with it being a different color and being being blended in so well. it could be moved up the little higher (the pink color). but other than that great job.

I cannot tell if it is just the picture or the building itself but the skyscraper looks almost as if it is twisting and turning and that makes this photo that much more amazing. I wish the sky wasn't as pink or pink at all but I do like the way that it goes up slowly and changes. Overall great shot.

This is one of the best pictures i've seen yet, great work! The black and white goes so well with the gradually changing background of pink to a light purple. The building is right in the middle of the shot and is almost as if it is moving around at some areas. The building alone makes a great picture because of how detailed it looks, it's as if it is out of a video game or something it just looks amazing! definitely a keeper.
This picture is amazing. I love how you can see the contortions throughout the building. I like how the skyscraper stands out (since it is black and white) in front of the multi-colored back ground. This was beautifully edited.

Awesome pic! I really like how the building is centered and seems all alone. The black and white filter further adds to the "trippy" effect that makes this image cool and unique. This image really stands out because the colorful sky makes the skyscraper seem dull, strange, and out-of-place which adds to the reasons of why it is unique. I agree with you that the pink sky would look better higher up than at the bottom. Overall, I really like this picture. Keep up the good work! - Heath M - HHS

This is a cool picture, but I do not like how you made the sky pink only at the bottom. It looks like cotton candy. If the pink in the sky looked a little more natural I think that it would add nicely to your photograph. However, I do like the original image of the building. The way you captured the architecture is quite nice.

I really like this picture. I think you could have blended the pink a little bit more the sky. I really like the building, overall a great picture.
This is really nice. I like the editing technique you used. It really gave the picture a different feel to it. The building is really interesting as well. The architecture of it is interesting, so good subject choice.
