Dayne M- Rainbow Wood

My image “Rainbow Wood” was taken in the woods near my house a few weeks ago. I edited the image by using a new document and coloring over the entire sheet and then blending that with the original image. I took the image with my Nikon D5500 with my 18-55mm lens. In order to make the image better, I would probably have the pieces of wood that are not completely focused moved into focus. That way the wood looks more like a solid wall of wood than staggered pieces. All in all, I am happy with the way my image turned out.

I really enjoy this picture! its very cool and unique. I love the colors int it and i like the perspective that the pictre was taken in, I do agree that the unfocused peices should be more focused to give it a sharper look. All in all i really like it and goof job!

This looks really great man. I honestly thought you had colored each log individually because it flows so well. I would maybe increase the contrast a tad but literally looks great as is.

This looks really good. I didn't know what it was at first but then I looked at it closer and saw it was wood. I liked how you used color for it to make it look different. It could look a little sharper if the contrast was up a little more but other than that it looks really good.

This is a really awesome picture! I love the rainbow colors on the wood. I like how the color is subtle rather than extremely bright. It adds good contrast to the bland color of wood. The only thing I would change would be to sharpen the image a little and maybe add just a bit more vibrance to the colors.
