Matthew W- Pyramid

I titled this image “Pyramid” because the rider is at the top of a pyramid. I took it at a park in north Alabama during a jam. I made the image black and white and messed with the level of the colors until I liked how everything was shaded. I increased the contrast to bring out the shadows a little, and removed some trees from the background to keep it simple. I could have cropped in so that it obeyed the rule of thirds more but I like how open it is.

This is a really cool photo. I really like how the action is captured. The depth given by the angle and shapes in the picture is good. I'm a huge fan of black and white pictures and I also really like the leading line as well as the contrast.

Nice picture! The focus on the person is very sharp and draws your attention. The Rule of Thirds was used nicely in this image. I really like the simplicity of the subject and the colors. Overall, great job!
