I took “Trndwn” a couple of months ago, on a trip to downtown Birmingham. The rider, Ben Drexel, was throwing a turn down off of a little jump, and I shot from an angle that would get the city in the background. I was content with the way it came out, and only wish my angle has been a bit lower.

I love the depth in this photo. I like how the subject is off to the right but the city fills the background. The colors are beautiful and the warm and cold contrast is good.

I really like the colors and composition of the shit. It looks and feels really natural with the light and colors, plus the depth of field is awesome with the city in the background. The only thing that could make this photo any better is if the rider could properly execute a turndown, but hey, maybe it'll happen one day. Great photo
