Matthew W- Portal

I titled this image “portal”. It was taken with a nikon d5300 in Birmingham at night around 11ish. I wanted to try to make the eye stand out more and bring out the colors in the background. I selected the eye and changed the hue and saturation and cleaned up some reflections with the stamp tool. I also added a cooling filter and a warming filter and erased some of both to make the background stand out and make her face glow. I could have edited it better by spending more time on the eye contrast and making the green stand out more.

This is dope! I love the colors and the detail in her eyes. The blurry/glowy purple adds a good contrast! This is cool Matthew!!! -Bells

This is awesome, I like the colors and how you edited her eye. I also like how everything is blurred besides her face. Looking at this image I feel like it has a story behind it. I really like it! Good job Matthew :)

This picture is great. The focus is great, I like how her face is crisp and the background is blurred. The rule of thirds was used well, as her eye is on the far right. I really like that. Also, I feel a calm mood because her face is relaxed and the cool colors used. Great job!

I really like this photo Matthew. The detail and lighting is really good, the reflection in her eye is really sharp. I also like the blue/brown tones of the photo.
