Grant S- Break of Dusk
The title of this photo is Break of Dusk. I took this photo when I was taking a run around the lake behind my house. I edited by turning up the color and making the photo darker. I think the photo could be better if I had focused the photo more or made it more dramatic.
Trey D- Monte Carlo
The title of this image is “Monta Carlo”. I took this at Grandad’s farm down in the country. I took this with my phone. I changed the brightness, vibrance, saturation, exposure and more.

Matthew W- Portal
I titled this image “portal”. It was taken with a nikon d5300 in Birmingham at night around 11ish. I wanted to try to make the eye stand out more and bring out the colors in the background. I selected the eye and changed the hue and saturation and cleaned up some reflections with the stamp tool. I also added a cooling filter and a warming filter and erased some of both to make the background stand out and make her face glow. I could have edited it better by spending more time on the eye contrast and making the green stand out more.
Lana Mohammed -Color Tunnel Portrait
I took this picture at the color tunnel downtown and I used an SL1. I really like the way it came out. I used a lot of layers to fix the colors because the blue light made his skin look weird. I also added some contrast and darkened the shadows.

Grace C- Schönheit
Schönheit. Beauty. This was taken close outside of her apartment. I used my 50 mm 1.8 and I would not change a thing. I bumped up the contrast and the brightness, as well as draining the reds.

Ryan F- Deck Level
The title of this image is “Deck Level.” It was taken in a parking deck at the Riverchase Galleria on September 12, 2016. It was taken with my iPhone 6s. I edited it only by using a Nik Collection Realistic B&W filter to mess with the lighting and color. I honestly don’t know how it could be better but let me know if you can of anything.
Grace H- Crystal Ball
I took this photo using my Canon 80D and used manual mode. I edited using photoshop and added several filters. I wanted the top half to have a warm filter and the bottom to have cool tones. I like this photo because it is different compared to the rest of my photos. The only thing that I dislike about this image is that it’s blurry.

Bella M - Walker
This photo was taken in trace crossings with a Nikon last week. It was edited by reducing the exposure and warming it up some. I also bumped up the offset. It could be better if the back was more blurred and there was more detail.
DrewF- SL550
This was taken at work this past week. Sadly it was taken with my iPhone due to not being able to take my camera to work. It was edited with NIK collection filters. It could be better with no smart car in back ground.

Dayne M- Ferris Wheel
I took this image in July at Navy Pier in Chicago. I used my Nikon D5500 and I edited it by bumping the saturation, focused it more, and then added a Bi-Color User Defined filter. It could be better if I got the center of the ferris wheel in the framing of the image, but other than that I wouldn’t really change anything else.

Ashley W- Sisters
This image is entitled “Sisters.” It was taken at Bluff Park Elementary School about a month ago with my nikon d3200. I changed the curves color balance brightness and contrast and put black and white filter over it to bring out the freckles on their faces. It could be better fit the girl on the right side had the same lighting as the girl on the left and if i had taken it from a slightly more aerial perspective.
Brody G- Avant Garde
The title of this image is “Avant Garde” because that is brand of wheels on this beautiful 350z. I took this photo at some car meet at Twin Peaks one weekend. I took it with my sony a6000 with the 50mm 1.8 lens. It could be better if it was not so bright above the headlight but oh well. All around I really like this picture:):):):)

Jordan H -Tanna
I took this picture of my friend Tanna on the beach over the summer. I took this with my Canon 5D mark iii. I edited this photo on Lightroom, and I blurred her skin a bit, added a preset, and adjusted the lighting and contrast. I think the photo could be better if I edited out her legs or cropped the image a little bit.
Lupita G - 17
I really like capturing the outdoors. I love the vibrant colors that are captured during sunsets. I also enjoy portraits and trying different moods with them too. My work can vary from dark images to bright images. I really enjoy both.

Hunter F- Photoblog 1
The photo was taken at my house late in September 2014, while I was in 10th Grade Digital Photography. I edited it by enhancing the saturation and adding color filter to it. I believe that the photo would be much better if it had more saturation and vibrance added to it.

Chloe J-Laguna Beach
I took this photo in Laguna Beach California, I took it around noon in July of this summer. I took this using my Canon XSI. I edited it with VSCO cam by adjusting the brightness and contrast and adding a filter and added some grain. To make this photo better I could have edited it in photoshop and maybe not have used grain. But overall I really like this picture and the mood it brings and the colors.

Justin C- Matthew in Black & White
I took this around the end of the school year last year in the studio for the studio assignment. I took it with my Nikon D3300. I edited it by applying a black and white filter, adjusting the curves/hues/and vibrance. I removed the filter around the eye so the color would stand against the rest of the image. I really enjoy the photo as is so there isn’t much I would change besides a little bit of tweaking. I know the style is cliche but I like it all the same.
Kate M.- Photoblog 1
This picture is called Photoblog 1. I took it a few weeks ago with my canon t3i at an abandoned tennis court. I edited this on vsco on my phone. I really like the dreamy vibe that the warm filter gives this picture. If I could change one thing, I would make the whole picture be in focus instead of just her knees.
Grant S- Galleria
The title of this photo is “Galleria”. It was taken at the mall a week ago. I took it with my Nikon L840. I didn’t edit it at all. It could be better if I edited it a little.
Crace C- Art is Pain
This was taken downtown at an abandoned building near Avondale Brewery. I took this with my Cannon Rebel XSi and my 50 mm lens, with a CPL (polarizing) filter to enhance colors and increase contrast. To edit, I selected her eyes to bump up the blues. Then I bumped up the overall saturation then drained the reds. I also removed her necklace using the heal tool and the clone tool. I love this the way it is.

Rere H- Harri
Then title of my image is called Harri. It was taken in South Carolina at a park near the ESPN / SEC buildings. It was taken with a nikon D3000. I edited it by Increased the contest and bumped up the saturation. I also brightened the image a little and blurred the back ground out a little.I also added text to the image. This photo could have been better if it was not so grainy.

Jeremy L - Galaxy
Nikon D5100 / 50mm f/1.8
This picture is titled “Galaxy”; it was taken last winter on highway 31, just inside Vestavia. I edited this on Adobe Lightroom (mobile) and played with the colors, to get that warmer, non-vibrant atmosphere. I love the blown out background and light tans, complimented by the deep greens. I would like to have a little more color in his face, and the quality is compressed, but I am more than content with it for its tones.

Grace H-"Bloom Again"
I took this photo at Blue Ridge in Georgia. I was walking and saw a butterfly on a bush so I took a photo of it. I used my canon t3i with the manual mode. In photoshop I blurred the ends and darkened it so it looks like it has a vignette filter. This photo is not edited that much but I just did slight adjustments go the brightness and contrast.

Ashley Wilbanks- Portrait at the Botanical Gardens
I took this image at the Botanical Gardens with my Nikon D3200. I edited it in Photoshop but I don't remember what all I did to it, probably darkened it and made it bluer. I really like this image.
Drew F- Key West
This was taken in Key West in late July. I edited it with a paint brush filter and light. It could be better at a different angle.
