I took this picture at the Birmingham Botanical Gardens with my Canon XS. To edit this photo I adjusted the brightness and contrast, sharpened the image and made it black and white.

I love this image! I really like the sharpness and the black and white effect. I also really like the angle and the low lighting. I really focuses on the center of the flower, which is pretty cool. Great job!
I like the clarity of this picture. Overall it looks very simple and elegant. I like how you edited it. The only thing I would change would be to get more of the rose in the picture. In this picture the bottom of the rose is cut off and I think if it was there then the picture would appear more whole.

i wish that you could see the entire bloom. however, the image is sharp and i love the black and white.
