Grace H- Dark Flower

My favorite image I took for this assignment is tilted “Dark Flower”. I took this photo in late October in Atlanta. For this photo I used the AV mode on my canon t3i and edited using photoshop. The photo was originally very noisy so I reduced the red in the photo to help reduce the noise. I wanted my photo to be dark so I lowered the exposure vibrance, and saturation. Then I used the overlay tool and darkened the background and lightened the flower petals. Overall this image was not that hard to take because outside it was not very bright outside so my subject wasn’t washed out.

i like the photo, i think its calming. I would have lightened the flower up just a tad and kept the leaves the same.

I love this image. I like how the saturation is low and the lighting is dim. This makes it very dramatic. I also like the angle that you shot the flower. Great Job!

Great job on this photo! It looks almost like a macro photo. The colors and composition are nice and the photo looks really sharp.

The image looks a little flat, I would have lightened the flower and brightened the over all photo. other than that, I like it. :)
