Madeline V.- Page Turner
This picture is titled “Page Turner” and I took it for the high key low key assignment and I didn’t really do much to edit it except for making it black and white and adjusting the colors then making some of the pages more noticeable and sharpening it. I wish that the book itself was in focus a little bit more, but the picture was harder to take then you would think because It was hard to get the pages what I wanted them to do. I really love this picture though!

This is a great low key photo! I really love how the pages are blurred, so it looks like the page is being turned. Sharpening your image was a great idea because it makes it pop out more. This is a great photo and you did a great job editing this! Grace H-HHS
Hey Madeline! I like this shot and the decision to make it black and white. To make it better, I think it would be nice if the spine of the book was in a bit better focus. Also the blank black space at the bottom of the shot it is a bit awkward, so I think it would've been better if the book was closer to the bottom and you could see all of the pages instead of them being cut off. Good shot though!
I love this picture, I would of shot it from a higher angle so that way the pages aren't cut off at the top, Other than that great shot! :)
Love this shot. With most low key photos the subject is still. It's nice to see some motion. It brings great character to the shot. The motion is great; i think the shutter speed you chose helps to provide a realist sense of speed. I also like the composition. The orientation of the book really pulls me in.
I like this photo for the most part. The focusing and blur of the pages is good. The composition of the photo can be better though. You need to get more room above the pages and get everything into the photo. Other than that, I like this photo.
I like this photo, the singular focus on the pages really catch your eye. I think it would be a bit more pleasing to look at if there wasn't quite so much grain though.
I really like this photo. I like the blur of the pages. Although in the blur it seems a ad bit grainy but other than that, good job!
This is a dope picture!!! I love the long exposure anyhow you can see the pages turning. That contrast and the black background and the black and white edit really make it dramatic. This is great!
This Picture is very interesting! I enjoy how you turned the photo black and white because it emphasizes the pages turning with the dramatic, black background. This picture was probably hard to make and it turned out well so it was definitely worth the risk. The way you edited the pages helps the photo as well. Overall, I love this picture!
this picture is very cool! you did a really nice job capturing the pages. i love that its black and white you did a really nice job!
