I took this picture using my digital slr. I had the settings on HDR so it could take the perfect picture. I then added a filter in the photomatix program and also sharpened it in photoshop. I then did the dodge and burn technique to make the albums stand out and to darken the carpet. I really like this picture because i love the old fireside warm feeling to the picture and they are my favorite albums i have.

I really LOVE music themed photography! SOOO.. this automatically got my attention! Also, the way you positioned your favorite albums in a casual yet photogenic way is really good!! It's so cool how you have that type of music player...And how you added this filter and only made certain parts in color...I too, get that fireside-warm-peaceful vibe from this feeling. I really love this! It's really interesting...in a good way of course! Haha great job!!

I love the effect the HDR had on this photo. The graininess gave this photo some really col details. Nice job!

This is a cool photo, how you used the black and white effect and left orange and green standing out. The carpet and bricks show texture and detail. What I think you could have done to make this better is take the photo directly above looking down on the subjects.
