John Michael A - Water Damage

The photo I selected is titled Water Damage. I took this photo during the Story Illustration assignment. I shot it with my Canon T3i on the roof of a parking deck beside the City Federal building in downtown Birmingham. I adjusted the exposure of three copies of it and converted it to a HDR photo. I created this photo out of boredom and experimentation. I like the way it turned out.

I really liked this photo because it looks unique with the colors considering it's a bit rare to see the dirty brown type shade look nice in any pictures, so that's a factor that I like about this picture. I also like how you named it "water damage." My interpretation of the name is how the water looks like it's damaging the wall in the background. I like it!

I like how the wall progresses from relatively clean to extremely damaged. The water pooled in the bottom also looks really cool. The HDR effect looks great on this picture.

This photo is really cool, it almost looks fake like a painting. I like the soft colors of the blue and brown and how they complement each other. It’s simple, but colorful. I really like it, awesome job.
