I took this picture of my friend Reed for her graduation announcements, and I really liked the way this one turned out. We went to Downtown Birmingham to explore places to take pictures, and we found this over pass. I edited it by adjusting the levels and the shadows and highlights. I also selected the background and enhanced the background to bring out the clouds. I then made the image black and white. I’m really satisfied with the way it turned out, definitely one of my favorites from our photo shoot.

I like this picture for lots of reasons, firstly the framing and composition is really great and has a very professional look. With the full depth of field the detail in your subject along with the texture in the railing shows through. Also the posing is super photogenic and not silly like so many posed portraits these days.
This picture is beautiful! I love how its black and white so that we can focus on Reed and the detail in the background. I also like how we can see the texture on the ground and on the bridge. It looks nice. I also like the contrast in the clouds as well. Looks good!
