This photo was taken as part of the high and low key assignment but came out as a very nice full tonal range image. The black and white was not so much as artistic choice but a correction I used to compensate for the color fringing caused by the FD mount lens I used. I edited this image obviously by converting to black and white and using the color channels to give the different parts of the flower their own individual shade. Also the contrast was increased and the noise was slightly reduced.

Love this Photo. I love how simple it is. I would have never thought of putting a flower in black and white. I love this, Great Job!

I really love this picture , the focus of the flower petal are so clear and even though its not up close you still get all the detial if your were up close. I really love the black and white.

I love how this picture has so many different variations of darker and lighter versions of black. It really brings out the details on the stems and the petals. I wish the veins in the pelts were a little darker so that they showed up more, but other than that I really enjoy this picture. Great job!
I really like this picture! The black and white is very nice for the picture. I love also how you can see the detail in the picture and not make it boring. Good job!

I like this photo a lot. The adjustment of the color channels after you brought it into black and white are really nice. I like how light the petals are versus the middle of the flower . The contrast created makes the image. Great work!

I love this photo so much! It really sounds out from the rest of the pictures. The Black and white filter really makes the details of the dirt, flower pedals, and leaves sound out. I also liked how you blurred out the back so we could focus more on the actual picture that was taken.
